J&H Janitorial Company, LLC is seeking a Part-Time Cleaner to perform cleaning and general upkeep of an assigned area. The role involves duties such as emptying trash, dusting, sanitizing bathrooms, sweeping, mopping, and keeping spaces tidy.

Requirements include prior janitorial or custodial experience, strong customer service, reliability, and the ability to pass a background check. The entry wage is $12.00 with a Day Time schedule listed as 40 hours per week.

The Cleaner performs cleaning and general upkeep of an assigned area.

Job Duties

Cleaners are assigned areas and could perform one or more of the following duties:

• Empty trash and replace can liners
• Dust, wipe and spot clean furniture, fixtures, and equipment
• Clean, sanitize all fixtures, floors, and restock paper and soap supplies in bathrooms
• Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors
• Clean cafeterias or eating areas
• Any other duties as mandated by the scope of the contract

Cleaners are expected to:

• follow safety procedures when handling cleaning chemicals and equipment
• communicate effectively any irregularities, equipment or building damage,
• follow security protocols as dictated by the contract
• wear company issued shirts
• maintain a professional and courteous demeanor
