Job summary

PACS Group’s Arlington Gardens Care Center is seeking a dependable Part-Time Janitor to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents, visitors, and staff. This role is part-time with a 3:00 PM–11:00 PM shift and hourly pay Range: $17.48–$18.00, DOE.

Responsibilities include cleaning restrooms, floors, surfaces; restocking supplies; reporting maintenance needs; and working both independently and as part of the team to uphold high cleanliness standards across the facility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
• Previous janitorial, housekeeping, or maintenance experience preferred
• Dependable, organized, and able to manage time effectively
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Responsibilities

• Maintain the cleanliness and overall appearance of the building, grounds, and fixtures
• Monitor assigned areas to ensure a clean, neat, and welcoming environment
• Perform routine janitorial and cleaning duties throughout the facility
• Clean and disinfect restrooms, including toilets, sinks, floors, and other surfaces
• Restock restroom and cleaning supplies as needed
• Remove trash and dispose of it in designated areas
• Properly maintain and care for janitorial equipment and supplies
• Report maintenance concerns or needed repairs to management
• Perform other related duties as assigned
