Job summary

Arlington Gardens Care Center in Riverside, CA is seeking a dependable Part-Time Janitor to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents, visitors, and staff. The role supports daily operations with a 3:00 PM–11:00 PM shift and compensation of $17.48–$18.00 per hour, DOE.

Responsibilities include cleaning, disinfecting restrooms, restocking supplies, removing trash, reporting maintenance issues, and collaborating with the team to ensure a tidy facility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
• Previous janitorial, housekeeping, or maintenance experience preferred.
• Dependable, organized, and able to manage time effectively.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and overall appearance of the building, grounds, and fixtures.
• Monitor assigned areas to ensure a clean, neat, and welcoming environment.
• Perform routine janitorial and cleaning duties throughout the facility.
• Clean and disinfect restrooms, including toilets, sinks, floors, and other surfaces.
• Restock restroom and cleaning supplies as needed.
• Remove trash and dispose of it in designated areas.
• Maintain and care for janitorial equipment and supplies.
• Report maintenance concerns or needed repairs to management.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
