Job summary

Husky-Rack-and-Wir in an industrial metals fabricating facility is seeking a janitorial worker to perform a wide range of cleaning duties. You will be required to perform heavy cleaning tasks, lift up to 50 lbs, and work from an elevated lift when needed.

Training on floor scrubbers and safe handling of cleaning solutions will be provided. Shifts include Monday through Thursday with mandatory overtime on Friday and Saturday based on business needs.

Qualifications

• 6 months janitorial experience.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Possible shift changes if required.

Responsibilities

• Operate floor scrubber and maintain floors.
• Clean and maintain plant cafeterias and offices.
• Clean refrigerators, windows, and restrooms monthly.
• Use industrial cleaning solutions safely and responsibly.
• Respect all safety rules and regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.

ours: Monday thru Thursday from 5:00am to 3:30pm with mandatory OT on Friday and Saturday based on a business need.

Pay : $17.87 to $19.21

Job Summary

Perform a wide range of cleaning duties in an industrial environment. This employee will be required to perform heavy cleaning duties in a metals fabricating facility. Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs. as well as working from an elevated lift is required.

Essential Job Functions

• Maintain the facility floors using a Tennant floor scrubber.
• Responsible for the maintenance, charging, and cleaning of the scrubber.
• Maintain plant cafeteria including daily cleaning of floors, tables, microwaves, and trash removal.
• Monthly cleaning of all refrigerators and cafeteria windows.
• Maintain all in plant offices including daily vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and trash removal.
• Monthly cleaning of all office windows. Some windows will require working from an elevated platform.
• Ability to work with industrial cleaning solutions in a safe and environmentally acceptable manner.
• Maintain six plant restrooms including cleaning of floors, toilets, and urinals twice daily. Walls, stalls and other areas are to be cleaned 3 times per week.
• Maintain all in plant hand washing stations including cleaning sinks daily and ensuring soap, paper towels, eye glass cleaner, etc is full at all times.
• Maintain break areas outside of the facility including sweeping and picking up trash in these areas weekly.
• Follow all safety rules and regulations.

Perform other similar duties as responsibilities necessitate or as assigned by supervisors.
