Job summary

MW Components in Greer, SC is seeking a dependable janitorial associate to maintain cleanroom-like production areas and common spaces. You will clean floors, operate floor scrubbers and sweep machines, restock supplies, and report hazards to supervisors.

This fast-paced, industrial environment requires physical stamina and adherence to safety procedures. Experience in janitorial, warehouse, or factory cleaning is preferred.

Qualifications

• Previous janitorial, warehouse, or factory cleaning experience preferred.
• Experience operating floor scrubbers and industrial sweep machines preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced industrial environment.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safety procedures.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical labor throughout the shift.
• Comfortable standing, bending, walking, and working around machinery.
• Dependable attendance and strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize factory floors, production areas, restrooms, offices, and break rooms.
• Operate floor scrubbers, sweep machines, buffers, and other industrial cleaning equipment.
• Sweep, mop, scrub, and remove debris from warehouse and manufacturing areas.
• Empty trash, recycling, and industrial waste containers.
• Clean spills and maintain safe walkways to prevent hazards.
• Restock restroom and cleaning supplies.
• Follow all OSHA, safety, and company sanitation procedures.
• Assist with cleaning around machinery and equipment during shutdown periods.
• Remove dust, dirt, grease, and other buildup from surfaces.
• Report maintenance, safety, or repair issues to supervisors.
• Support general facility upkeep and organization.

• Pay or shift range: $15 USD to $18 USD. The estimated range is the budgeted amount for this position. Final offers are based on various factors, including skill set, experience, location, qualifications and other job-related reasons.
