Utz Quality Foods, LLC in Gastonia, NC is hiring a 1st Shift Janitor to keep our restrooms, offices, and common areas clean and safe on weekdays from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM. You’ll be part of our logistics team, maintaining a clean, well-organized facility and supporting daily operations.

We value reliability and attention to detail. The role requires lifting up to 50 lbs, working independently, handling cleaning chemicals, and following all safety and GMP rules to ensure a healthy, safe workplace.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Able to work weekdays (Mon–Fri).
• Able to work with cleaning chemicals.
• Able to bend, stoop and squat regularly.
• Must have reliable transportation to Gastonia, NC.
• Independent worker capable of meeting deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Clean and replenish supplies for the office & logistics area restrooms and locker rooms.
• Fills paper and soap dispensers.
• Empties garbage cans from various locations within facility
• Collects recyclable cans, paper and glass.
• Cleans common areas as needed.
• Cleans refrigerators as needed.
• Vacuum rugs throughout facility.
• Follow safety rules and work safely at all times.
• Report unsafe equipment and practices to supervisor.
• Must adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
