Job summary

United States Cold Storage, Inc. is seeking a sanitation/maintenance associate to uphold cleanliness across assigned areas in a warehouse setting. You will perform dusting, scrubbing, mopping, and waste disposal to maintain a hygienic environment.

The role requires ability to lift and bend, work in a temperature-controlled facility, and follow safety protocols. Training and employer-provided protective equipment are available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Previous janitorial experience is preferred but not required.

The Job Details:

• Responsible for the overall cleanliness and sanitation of assigned work area.
• Keeps individual and facility safety at the forefront of their sanitation responsibilities.
• Assigned cleaning areas could consist of the kitchen, bathrooms, office, breakrooms, locker rooms, etc.
• Cleaning tasks could consist of, but are not limited to, dusting, scrubbing and cleaning restrooms, wiping down tables and countertops, and overall tidiness of the area.
• Sweeps, vacuums, mops, scrubs, waxes and polishes floors using industrial vacuum cleaners and scrubbing and buffing machines.
• Clean respected area using ladders, moving furniture, boxes, and equipment as needed.
• Empty trash cans.

• Education: High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Experience: previous janitorial experience is preferred but not required.

• Bend and lift up to 50 lbs. regularly.

• Possess strong arithmetic and reading skills.
• Follow verbal instructions, written instructions, and company policies.
