Cumberland Farms in Westborough, MA is seeking a full-time Janitor to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming store environment. You will perform daily cleaning tasks, manage waste disposal, and ensure overall facility appearance aligns with company standards.

The role requires a High School diploma (or equivalent) and 1–2 years of janitorial experience, with potential for progression. Weekday daytime shifts and a strong emphasis on safety complete the profile.

• Trade School preferred.
• 1-2 Years of Janitor Experience.
• 3-4 Years of Janitor Experience.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and common areas regularly.
• Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors, ensuring surfaces are dirt-free.
• Empty trash cans and recycling bins, disposing of waste appropriately.
• Dust and polish furniture, fixtures, and equipment.
• Restock cleaning supplies and bathroom amenities as needed.
• Report maintenance issues or safety hazards to supervisor promptly.
• Follow safety protocols and proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Maintain outdoor areas, including sidewalks and entrances, to ensure cleanliness.
• Perform additional cleaning tasks as required by the supervisor.
• Must be able to perform the essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation

Position Summary

The Janitor is responsible for the cleanliness of the facility, ensuring a hygienic and safe environment for all employees and visitors. This position involves performing various cleaning tasks, handling waste disposal, and maintaining the overall appearance of the building.

Monday – Friday 8 hour day in office setting

Physical Requirements:

• Pushing/pulling/bending/kneeling/twisting/climbing on a regular basis
• Carrying/sitting/walking/standing and lifting above shoulder level on a regular basis
