Job summary

Champion Home Builders, Inc. in Waterville, NY, is seeking a dedicated Janitor to keep our facility clean and safe. You will sweep, mop, sanitize, and maintain hallways, restrooms, and work areas in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to observe safety and security procedures and to comply with policies.
• Ability to read and interpret written information; ability to write clear statements; ability to communicate orally.
• Must be able to do physical work and operate power equipment normally found in janitorial operations.
• Attention to detail and professionalism.
• Ability to manage time efficiently and work both independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Sweeps, mops, scrubs, and vacuums hallways, restrooms, lunch areas and other areas.
• Regularly sanitize common areas throughout the plant.
• Empties trash and garbage containers.
• Notifies management concerning need for major repairs or additions to lighting, heating, and ventilating equipment.
• Cleans snow and debris from sidewalk.
• Additional duties may be assigned as required.

Summary Keeps facility in a clean and orderly condition by performing the following duties.
