Champion Home Builders, Inc. in Sangerfield, NY is hiring a part-time Janitor to keep the facility clean and orderly. The role includes sweeping, mopping, sanitizing common areas, and trash handling in a production environment.

The position supports a safe, productive workplace with opportunities for flexibility. Qualified applicants should be able to perform physical work, follow safety procedures, and work well individually or in a team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to observe safety and security procedures and to comply with policies.
• Ability to read and interpret written information; ability to write clear statements; ability to communicate orally.
• Must be able to do physical work and operate power equipment normally found in janitorial operations.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to demonstrate professionalism.
• Must be able to manage time efficiently and to work individually as well as within a team.

Responsibilities

• Sweeps, mops, scrubs, and vacuums hallways, restrooms, lunch areas, and other areas.

• Empties trash and garbage containers.
• Notifies management concerning the need for major repairs or additions to lighting, heating, and ventilating equipment.

• Additional duties may be assigned as required.

Summary: Keeps facility in a clean and orderly condition by performing the following duties.
