Job summary

Clarios is seeking a dependable Janitor/Industrial Cleaner for our Florence, KY facility to maintain production and common areas, uphold housekeeping and safety standards, and support plant operations.

The role requires the ability to work on a 2-2-3 rotating schedule, including weekends, with a focus on safety, reliability, and teamwork in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Pay: $18.00 per hour

Schedule: 2-2-3 rotating schedule

Facility: Clarios - Florence, Kentucky

Position Summary:

Clarios is seeking a dependable and hardworking Janitor/Industrial Cleaner to help maintain a clean, safe, and organized manufacturing facility. This position plays an important role in supporting plant operations by maintaining production and common areas and ensuring the facility meets established housekeeping and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean and maintain production areas, offices, restrooms, breakrooms, and common areas.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and remove trash and waste.
• Clean and maintain floors, walls, windows, and other surfaces.
• Replenish restroom and cleaning supplies as needed.
• Operate basic cleaning equipment and tools.
• Properly handle cleaning chemicals and materials.
• Follow all company safety, housekeeping, and environmental procedures.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas.
• Identify and report safety hazards, maintenance issues, or facility concerns.
• Support general housekeeping needs throughout the manufacturing facility.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications:

• Previous janitorial, custodial, industrial cleaning, manufacturing, or general labor experience preferred.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean and safe workplace.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, climb, and lift as required.
• Ability to work a 2-2-3 rotating schedule, including weekends as scheduled.
• Willingness to follow all safety requirements and wear required PPE.

Compensation & Schedule.

• Weekly pay every Friday
• Paid vacation (after 100 days) and 13 paid holidays

• Annual bonus opportunity (4% of gross wages)
• 401k with company match (RIC 1-5%, 50% match up to 3%)
