Job summary

Diablo Valley Post Acute is seeking a dependable Janitor to join our healthcare team on a full-time basis. You will maintain clean, safe, sanitary areas for residents, families, and staff, and support infection-control procedures.

Responsibilities include cleaning resident rooms and common areas, restrooms, and high-touch surfaces, stocking supplies, and reporting safety concerns. A strong work ethic and ability to work independently are essential.

Qualifications

• Previous janitorial, housekeeping, or environmental services experience preferred.
• Healthcare or skilled nursing facility experience is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and cleanliness.
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently.
• Ability to follow safety and infection-control procedures.
• Ability to safely perform physical tasks such as standing, walking, bending, and lifting.

The Janitor will help maintain a clean, safe, sanitary, and comfortable environment for our residents, families, and staff.
