Excel Facility Services in Stony Point, NY is seeking a reliable janitor for a part-time evening schedule (Mon, Thu, Fri 6:00 PM–8:30 PM). You will maintain clean, orderly spaces across assigned locations, follow the scope of work, and support daily cleaning tasks and safety requirements.

Key duties include floors, bathrooms, break rooms, waste management, and supplies restocking. You will report hours using Time and Attendance and wear the required uniform at all times.

Qualifications

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
• Basic knowledge of cleaning techniques and cleaning products.
• Good attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to work independently as needed.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks.

Responsabilités

• Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors.
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms.
• Clean counter tops, microwaves, and refrigerators in break rooms.
• Restock supplies in bathrooms, break rooms and common areas.
• Empty all trash cans and replace liners, clean receptacles as necessary.
• Dust and clean cashier stalls, ceiling light fixtures.
• Clean windows and mirrors.
• Maintain janitor closets in a clean, safe and operable condition.
• Follow safety rules and use safety precautions.
• Complete SOW as requested and assigned by the manager per location.
• Perform general cleaning tasks throughout our building.
• Restock supplies in areas assigned.
• Notify supervisor of repairs needed.
• Ensure doors are locked at night (if applicable).
• Use Time and Attendance system to report hours and payroll.
• Notify manager ASAP if any issues with IVR system.
• Always wear uniform and IDs while working.

Janitor's Responsibilities:

• Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms
• Clean counter tops, microwaves, and refrigerators in break rooms
• Restock supplies in bathrooms, break rooms and common areas
