Job summary

Controlled Contamination Services is seeking a reliable janitor to perform general upkeep and maintenance cleaning of interior facilities, offices, and restrooms. The role involves floor care, dusting, disinfecting, and reporting hazards to the supervisor.

You will work under supervision to ensure compliance with safety rules and contract requirements, handling routine cleaning tasks and assisting with additional duties as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED (or equivalent).
• One year related experience and/or training.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Pick up trash and replace with trash liners.
• Vacuum, mop, strip and wax, and sweep all floor areas.
• Dust, wall spot, clean all glass, polish, sanitize all areas.
• Wash, clean, wipe down, sponge, rinse, scour and disinfect any assigned work area.
• Note and report all areas in need of repair and any hazardous condition requiring correction.
• Adhere to all safety rules and requirements and all policies and procedures.
• Report all damage to customer property, suspicious activities and unsafe conditions within their work area to the supervisor.
• All other duties as defined by supervisor.

Position Purpose

Qualifications

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's.
• Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
