Job summary

The position is non-exempt and reports to the Foreman, with duties assigned per procedures. Candidates must meet safety requirements and pass background, drug screen, and TWIC as part of post-offer conditions.

• Post offer drug / alcohol screen, physical evaluation, and signed acceptance of the company Drug, Alcohol and Contraband Policy
• Comply with company and client job site safety requirements
• Must not pose a direct threat to the health or safety of others in the workplace

Responsibilities

• Maintains premises; ensures rest and working areas of offices, industrial buildings and outer grounds are in clean and orderly condition.
• Performs a combination of dusting furniture, walls, fixtures, and equipment; sweeping, scrubbing, mopping, waxing, and buffering floors; polishing furniture, fixtures, and trimmings.
• Cleans lavatories, showers, and rest rooms; performs a variety of non-mechanical tasks; may transfer between tasks as needed; follows supervisor directions.
• May be required to perform additional assignments per supervisor's direction

Non-exempt role; Reports to the Foreman; Assigned duties according to specific procedures / work is checked frequently.

Functional Requirements:

Maintains premises; ensures rest and working areas of offices, industrial buildings and outer grounds are in clean and orderly condition; performs a combination of dusting furniture, walls, fixtures, and equipment; sweeping, scrubbing, mopping, waxing, and buffering floors; polishing furniture, fixtures, and trimmings; using janitorial supplies; cleaning lavatories, showers, and rest rooms; performs a variety of non-mechanical tasks; spends time on the job or may be transferred from task to task as needed; perform additional assignments per supervisor's direction

Physical Involvement:

May be required to do the following: climbing ladders, scaffolds, structures, etc. above and below ground level; maintaining balance on ladders, scaffolds, structures, etc.; reaching in all directions; handling and manipulating objects and materials; coordinating the movements of eyes, hands and fingers to operate tools and equipment; lifting 30 to 50 pounds from ground level, waist level, and/or overhead; carrying objects, tools, equipment, etc.; standing / sitting; walking; pushing; pulling; bending; kneeling; crouching/squatting; seeing with or without correction; hearing with or without correction; wearing respirator and other PPE; stepstool use; work in excessive heat; work in excessive cold; work in loud environment
