Job summary

Didlake, Inc. is seeking a dedicated janitor to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for employees and individuals served. You will help ensure daily operations run smoothly by meeting cleanliness and safety standards in assigned areas.

This role emphasizes attention to quality, professional conduct, and adherence to Didlake policies, with on-site work and opportunities to contribute to a mission-driven nonprofit serving people with disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Independently clean restrooms, offices, break rooms, locker rooms, kitchenettes/pantries, showers, stairwells, corridors, elevators, escalators, and other assigned work areas.
• Sweep floors using brooms and mop floors as needed.
• Clean rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies using a vacuum cleaner.
• Dust furniture, equipment, and fixtures.
• Polish metalwork such as fixtures and fittings.
• Wash walls, ceilings, woodwork, door panels, and sills.
• Empty wastebaskets and transport trash to designated disposal areas.
• Sort and transport recyclable materials to designated recycling areas.
• Replenish restroom supplies as needed.
• Perform work with attention to quality, detail, and consistency.
• Maintain appropriate conduct and professional demeanor in accordance with Didlake policy.
• Follow safety standards and guidelines in the proper use of equipment and cleaning supplies.
• Complete and maintain all required Didlake training.
