Job summary

Henderson Products Inc. in Manchester, IA is seeking a dedicated Janitor to support two Manchester locations. You will clean and sanitize restrooms, empty trash, dust surfaces, vacuum, wash windows, operate the cardboard compactor and floor sweeper, and handle outdoor cleanup and winter salting. Valid driver’s license and the ability to travel between sites are required.

Join Henderson Products Inc., located in Manchester, IA! We are the North American leader in the design, manufacture and up fit of multi-purpose equipment for heavy-duty work trucks specializing in snow and ice control and “Keeping America’s Roads Safe!”

DAY SHIFT - 8AM to 4:00PM - Monday - Friday, 20 Minute paid lunch

HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE:

As a Janitor, you will be an integral part of the Henderson team, providing cleaning and facility support services for both Manchester locations. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, cleaning and sanitizing restrooms; emptying trash and recycling; surface cleaning and dusting; vacuuming; washing windows; operating the cardboard compactor, floor sweep, performing outdoor trash pickup, shoveling sidewalks, and salting during winter months. Additional cleaning tasks and special projects may be assigned as needed.

WHAT THIS ROLE NEEDS:

(Preferred)

• Previous experience in janitorial or cleaning roles, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and safe handling practices

• Valid driver’s license and proof of insurance
• Ability to travel between two Manchester locations as part of regular job duties

WORKING CONDITIONS:

• Ability to lift/push up to 50 lbs.
• Bending, lifting, and standing
• Exposure to noise and weld and grinding smoke at times
