Job summary

Agropur Cooperative is seeking a Janitor to maintain a clean and safe work environment across the plant, following sanitation schedules and safety protocols.

The role includes routine cleaning, pest control support, and training new staff, with emphasis on teamwork and accuracy.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • No experience required; in-housing training provided.
  • Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
  • Demonstrate attention to detail, quality, and cleanliness.

Responsibilities

  • Perform daily cleaning tasks per the Master Sanitation and Deep Cleaning Schedules.
  • Work safely and efficiently in all plant areas including break rooms, locker rooms, offices and corridors.
  • Keep work area and janitorial supplies organized and maintained.
  • Report any potential food safety issues to management per QA policies.
  • Assist in pest control program and monitoring of the facility.
  • Complete non-routine cleaning tasks and assist in training new janitorial team members.
  • Assist with snow removal during winter months and adhere to safety protocols.
