Job summary

Hugos Family Marketplace is seeking a Maintenance team member to keep the store clean, safe, and welcoming for customers and staff. The role covers a range of cleaning and upkeep tasks to preserve restrooms, floors, and public areas in top condition.

The ideal candidate has a High School diploma or equivalent and is comfortable working early morning shifts. No prior experience required; on-the-job training is provided, with full-time benefits including health, dental, vision, and 401k.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize restrooms, floors, and public areas to uphold hygiene standards.
• Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste in a responsible manner.
• Dust shelves and displays to maintain a tidy and organized appearance.
• Maintain the cleanliness of entrances and windows, ensuring they are free of smudges and debris.
• Restock supplies such as paper products and soap in restrooms and other public areas.
• Follow established safety and cleaning protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
• Report any maintenance or repair issues promptly to management.
• Operate cleaning equipment efficiently and safely.
• Adhere to safety and sanitation standards to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with health regulations.
• Manage time effectively to prioritize tasks and complete them within designated timeframes.
• Work independently or as part of a team to achieve cleanliness and maintenance goals.
• Demonstrate reliability and consistency in performing cleaning duties to meet the company's standards.
• Also fills water softener salt upstairs, checks fire extinguishers throughout the facility.
