Job summary

Westerwood Senior Living in Columbus, OH is seeking a dependable Janitor to maintain clean and safe common areas for our residents. This full-time role runs 7:00am-3:30pm on weekdays and alternating weekends.

You will remove waste, set up events, and keep assigned areas tidy and in good condition, contributing to residents' health, happiness, and dignity. Prior janitorial experience is preferred, with strong communication and physical stamina.

Qualifications

• Previous commercial janitorial experience strongly preferred.
• Good verbal communication skills with ability to follow oral and written instructions.
• Strong emphasis on customer service.

Responsibilities

• Remove and dispose of waste and trash.
• Event set-ups and maintaining cleanliness of assigned areas and floors.

Westerwood Senior Living is actively seeking a dependable and compassionate Janitor to help maintain a clean and comfortable home for our seniors. This position is full-time, scheduled 7:00am-3:30pm weekdays and every other weekend.

Job Summary and Responsibilities:

As a Janitor at Westerwood, you’ll play a vital role in the overall experience of our residents by ensuring all common areas and facilities are kept clean, safe, and in good working order. Your work will contribute directly to our residents' health, happiness, and dignity. Responsibilities include the removal and disposal of waste and trash, event set‑ups, maintaining the cleanliness of assigned areas and floors, straightening or rearranging furniture as directed, and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Previous commercial janitorial experience strongly preferred. Must have the ability, with continuous or repetitive motion, to stoop, bend, reach, and push, pull or lift up to 75 lbs, good verbal communication skills with the ability to follow oral and written instructions, pleasant, tactful and courteous, with a strong emphasis on customer service.
