Job summary

Arbin Instruments in College Station seeks a dedicated janitor to maintain cleanliness and hygiene in our facility. This temp-to-permanent role covers routine cleaning, restocking supplies, and reporting maintenance issues, with regular hours from 8:00 a.m.

to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, reliable, and take ownership of their responsibilities, able to lift, bend, and stand for long periods while following safety protocols and using appropriate cleaning

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of cleaning techniques and supplies.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Good time management and reliability.
• Physical stamina to lift, bend, and stand for long periods.
• Familiarity with safety procedures and cleaning products.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors regularly.
• Clean restrooms and restock supplies.
• Sanitize surfaces and high-touch areas.
• Empty trash and recycling bins.
• Clean windows, glass doors, and fixtures.
• Refill paper towels, toilet paper, and soap dispensers.
• Report needed repairs or supply shortages.
• Maintain janitorial equipment in working order.
• Follow safety protocols and cleaning schedules.
• Assist with event setup or emergency cleanups when needed.
