Job summary

Idaho Youth Ranch in Caldwell, ID is seeking a reliable housekeeper/janitor to support our residential care campus. You will maintain cleanliness and safety across facilities during a Monday–Friday 6:00 AM–2:30 PM shift.

The role requires at least a year of janitorial work, a high school diploma, and good written and verbal communication. We offer a supportive nonprofit environment with benefits and opportunities to grow.

• 1 year experience in housekeeping/janitorial work.

Our Janitors:

• Knows and implements the correct level of cleaning (cleaning, sanitizing, disinfecting) for all RCHR areas.
• Demonstrates proper and safe chemical use, equipment handling, and labor-saving products for all items within the specialty areas tasked with servicing.
• Adheres to all organizational safety, risk management and infection control standards; promotes a culture of safety.
• Recognize safety hazards and acting – wiping up spills, keep areas uncluttered

Must Haves:

• Must be 21 years of age
• Must possess High School diploma or equivalent
• 1 year experience in housekeeping/janitorial work
• Good written and verbal communication skills

This position has a shift of Monday - Friday from 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM.

As a 501(c)(3) Non-Profit, the Idaho Youth Ranch is a qualifying employer for the Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PLSF) program. The PLSF offers student loan forgiveness on qualifying loans under specific conditions. Speak with your loan provider for more information.

This role is located in Idaho and candidates need to be within a reasonable distance of one of the Idaho Youth Ranch locations.
