Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety and security of the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office jail
• Responsible for the security and supervision of inmates, including booking and releasing
• Enforce facility rule violations, conducting searches and inspections, surveillance of all inmates including inmate headcounts, door checks, strip searches, and cell inspections
• Supervise inmate meals, visitation, and other activities
• Involved in monitoring contraband, suicide attempts, or escape attempts
• Resolve disputes involving inmates
• Other job-related duties requested by the Supervisor
