• Independent Judgment is necessary for this position.
• Residence within Marion County within six months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Monitors CCTV screens for security breaches and rule violations.
• Ensures doors are secured and electronic access is controlled.
• Provides information verbally to inmates.
• Interacts with staff and visitors to share inmate information.
• Enters inmate location data and maintains logs.
• Performs computer updates and status inquiries.
• Completes paperwork related to incarceration and release.
• Performs duties related to jail security without direct inmate contact.
