Job summary

Successful candidates will complete a structured training program of at least 13 weeks, with strong initiative expected throughout training and probation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 1 year experience in law enforcement, corrections, emergency dispatching, or security.
• Equivalent combination of education, experience, and training may be considered.
• Must pass nationwide fingerprint-based record check and wants/warrants check.
• Must complete NCIC/NCJIS certification within six months of hire and recertify annually.

Responsibilities

• Operate the central control room in the City Detention Facility under supervision.
• Perform related duties as required and maintain security and safety protocols.
