Job summary

County of Weld seeks a Jail Booking Technician to support secure jail operations by collecting and verifying prisoner information, entering data into computer systems, and completing jail and court documents. This role supports 24-hour operations and requires successful pre-employment screening, including a polygraph and drug screen.

Shifts vary across days and times with multiple schedules. The position involves handling cash, updating records, and coordinating with law enforcement and court

Qualifications

• Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division with whole numbers, fractions and decimals.
• Ability to input large amounts of data using keystrokes and data entry daily.
• Pass criminal background check and pre-employment screenings (Office Assessment, Polygraph, Drug Screen, ErgoMed).

Responsibilities

• Enter and update information in computer systems and complete jail and court documents.
• Verify prisoner information and record commitments and discharges.
• Assist with managing prisoner property, cash, and related records.
