Job summary

Correctional Healthcare Partners (CHP Health) seeks Licensed Mental Health Clinicians to serve at the Monterey County Jail. We welcome LMFTs, LCSWs, LPCCs, and Licensed Psychologists dedicated to serving an underserved population with high‑quality mental health care.

The role involves individual and group therapy, treatment planning, assessments, and coordination with a multidisciplinary team, with opportunities to supervise pre‑licensed clinicians. California licensure is required.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted California license as an LMFT, LCSW, or LPCC.
• Experience working with behavioral and mental health conditions.
• Knowledge of CBT, DBT, and Motivational Interviewing.
• Strong clinical, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Correctional healthcare experience is valued but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group therapy
• Develop and monitor individualized treatment plans
• Conduct assessments and document patient progress
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team
• Support discharge planning and continuity of care
• Provide supervision to pre-licensed clinicians, as appropriate
