Job summary

Correctional Healthcare Partners seeks Licensed Mental Health Clinicians to join the Monterey County Jail team. We welcome LMFTs, LCSWs, LPCCs, and Licensed Psychologists dedicated to delivering high-quality care to incarcerated individuals.

You will provide individual and group therapy, develop treatment plans, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure continuous, coordinated care. Supervisory opportunities exist for pre-licensed clinicians, as appropriate.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted California license as an LMFT, LCSW, LPCC, or psychologist.
• Experience working with behavioral and mental health conditions.
• Knowledge of CBT, DBT, and Motivational Interviewing.
• Strong clinical, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Correctional healthcare experience valued but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group therapy.
• Develop and monitor individualized treatment plans.
• Conduct assessments and document patient progress.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
• Support discharge planning and continuity of care.
• Provide supervision to pre-licensed clinicians, as appropriate.
