Job summary

KBR’s National Security Solutions team in Reston, VA seeks a Joint All‑Domain Command and Control (JADC2) Operations SME. You will join a multidisciplinary team of analysts and modelers, shaping DoW planning efforts via MS&A tools and simulations.

The role demands 14+ years of operational military experience (Air Force ABM or equivalent) and TS/SCI clearance, with MBSE proficiency and wargaming exposure. Travel minimal; 40-hour work weeks with duties at Reston, VA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 14+ years of operational military experience as a U.S. Air Force ABM or equivalent.
• Direct experience with operational planning and developing CONOPs / courses of action.
• U.S. military Joint Qualified Officer designation.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a small, high-performance team.
• Extensive MBSE experience and ability to apply models to analysis.
• TS/SCI clearance required.
• Master’s degree in STEM and 16+ years of operational military experience.
• Experience planning at a combatant command or service component command.
• Experience with military exercises or wargames.
• Experience with model-based systems engineering (MBSE) techniques and tools.

Responsibilities

• Apply knowledge of BMC2 concepts to support MS&A activities.
• Develop CONOPS for modelers and operational SMEs.
• Drive innovation by bridging planning and analytical approaches.
• Evaluate kill chains and kill webs across joint, multi-domain contexts.
• Collect and curate authoritative military information for collaboration.
• Translate doctrine into actionable products for software development.
• Deliver high-quality written, visual, and analytical deliverables for senior decision-makers.
• Lead small teams or tasks within the broader effort.
