Job summary

Dorothy Lane Market is seeking a Jack’s Grill Cook for its upcoming Mason, Ohio location. You will grill meats, seafood and vegetables, serve customers with enthusiasm, and maintain a clean department while upholding food safety standards.

The role requires a willingness to learn and a commitment to DLM values: honest, safe, helpful, and hard-working. Holiday and weekend availability is expected.

Qualifications

• Desire to deliver great tasting food and friendly service.
• Food safety knowledge and practices.
• Willingness to learn about and taste great food.
• Be Honest, Safe, Helpful, and Hard-Working per DLM values.
• Previous grill or line cook experience preferred.
• Able to stand long periods and handle lifting up to 50 lbs.

Within the DLM Meat and Seafood department, our Jack’s Grill serves as a destination where customers can enjoy items from a carefully curated menu, or enjoy any of our proteins grilled to perfection. As we prepare for our upcoming location in Mason, Ohio, we’re seeking a passionate and skilled candidate to be our next Jack’s Grill Cook. What You’ll Do:

• Prepare and grill meats, seafood and vegetables to perfection.
• Serve customers with enthusiasm and expertise.
• Maintain cleanliness and presentation of the department.
• Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are met at every step.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Food safety expertise.
• A willingness to learn about and taste great food.

• Previous experience as a grill cook or line cook.
• Basic mathematical skills.

• Holiday and weekend schedule availability.
