Base pay range

$14.81/hr - $18.50/hr

Position Summary

Responsible for managing restaurant operations, in conjunction with or in the absence of the Restaurant Manager. Uses discretion in daily management decisions with accountability for ensuring effective execution of the Service Profit Chain (SPC), and Brand Promise. Primary responsibilities include providing excellent internal and external service, building restaurant sales and profit, and ensuring compliance with policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

1. Internal Service: Recruits, trains, develops, evaluates employees; monitors staffing; ensures training systems are implemented; identifies internal candidates for management; fosters a friendly, safe, and clean environment; motivates staff; recognizes achievements; complies with labor laws.
2. External Service: Manages daily operations; ensures guest satisfaction; maintains food safety and cleanliness; responds to guest concerns; upholds brand image; models excellent guest service.
3. Higher Profits: Analyzes operational and financial performance; develops and executes sales and profit strategies; monitors costs and budgets.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; associate's or bachelor's preferred.
• Minimum 1 year as a Shift Leader or Assistant Manager in customer service; 3 years as Assistant Manager with P&L responsibility for external applicants.
• Must be 18+, complete training, ServSafe certified, bilingual skills beneficial, and possess a valid driver’s license.

Physical and Competency Requirements

Stand and walk 85-95% of shift; lift 10-65 lbs; operate equipment; use computer; travel as needed.
