HEI Hotels and Resorts is seeking a vigilant Waterpark Lifeguard at The Kartrite Resort & Waterpark in the Catskills. You will supervise swimmers, respond to emergencies, and ensure guest safety while upholding park rules.

Applicants should be prepared to assist with life jackets fitting, aid younger guests, and participate in ongoing training. The role requires flexibility, good grooming, and a customer‑service mindset in a family‑oriented resort environment.

Qualifications

• Lifeguard certification and ability to respond to emergencies.
• Good physical stamina for extended standing and swimming.
• Willingness to participate in ongoing training.

Responsabilités

• Responds to emergency situations in the assigned zone.
• Administers and coordinates emergency first aid as necessary.
• Enforces the rules and regulations of the waterpark.
• Advises aquatics management of unsafe and unsanitary conditions.
• Provides information on park and resort activities and policies.
• Performs daily routine chores and maintenance of waterpark to ensure neat and orderly appearance.
• Uses appropriate PPE when handling/cleaning up/disposing of all biohazards both in the water or on the pool deck.
• Performs any other job related duties as assigned.
