Job summary

Jacobs Entertainment, Inc. is seeking a Marketing Coordinator for the J Resort in Reno. You will implement events, promotions and tournaments and coordinate social media posts to engage followers.

The role supports marketing staff, hosts parties, assists with signage, participates in meetings and VIP check-in duties at the resort.

Qualifications

• Implement and conduct all current and upcoming special events, promotions and tournaments.
• Coordinate social media postings and interactions with followers.
• Provide promotional/event support to marketing staff when necessary.
• Assist in hosting parties including monthly birthday parties and drawings.
• Assist in the facilitation of casino signage and marketing communication inside and outside the casino.
• Assist in monthly information meetings with other casino departments.
• Assist at Glow Plaza with signage and concert-related tasks including guest support.
• Assist with VIP Hotel Check-in at J Resort.

Responsibilities

• Resolve any problem or perceived inconvenience to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Coordinate Social Media sites, including postings and interactions with followers.

• Assist in monthly information meetings with other casino departments to ensure understanding of promotions.
• Assist at Glow Plaza with signage and event support as needed.
• Assist with VIP hotel check-in at J Resort.

Essential Job Responsibilities and Duties:

• Implement and conduct all current and upcoming special events, promotions, tournaments as well as all casino marketing activities and programs
• Resolve any problem or perceived inconvenience to ensure guest satisfaction
• Coordination of Social Media sites, to include postings and interactions with followers.
• Provide promotional/event support to marketing staff when necessary, keeping flexible hours based on business needs
• Assist in hosting of parties to include but not limited to; monthly birthday parties, drawings, holiday parties
• Assist in the facilitation of casino signage and marketing communication for both inside and outside of the casino
• Assist in monthly information meetings with other casino departments to ensure proper understanding of all current and upcoming marketing promotions
• Assist at the Glow Plaza as needed, including but not limited to assisting with signage installation, attending Glow Plaza concert series to aid with guests and band members
• Assist with VIP Hotel Check-in at J Resort

Skills, Education and Other Requirements:

• High School Diploma and Equivalent Work Experience
• Computer Friendly
