Job summary

Jacobs Entertainment, Inc. is currently in search of a “Hotel Houseperson—Graveyard Shift” for the J Resort in Reno. The J Resort is a full-service hotel-casino with over 500 rooms and a variety of slots and table games.

Join a team that emphasizes stellar guest service and operates around the clock. Essential duties include stocking room attendant carts, cleaning assigned rooms, transporting linens, and ensuring supplies are ready before cleaning rounds. High School Diploma preferred, U.S.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma preferred but not required.
• Identification that establishes identity.
• Identification that establishes the right to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for ensuring that the room attendants are adequately supplied with all the products and supplies that they need to completely clean their assigned rooms.
• Responsible for various large cleaning jobs such as cleaning corridor walls, windows, vending machines, ice machines and lobby ashtrays.
• Transport linen to and from laundry room.
• Retrieves supplies for room attendants and ensures that all supply carts are completely stocked with supplies, complimentary and lines prior to the start of cleaning rounds.
• Hands out clean linens to all room attendants and assists with loading linens on supply carts.
• Delivers supplies to room attendants during the day as needed.
• Takes soiled lines out to the laundry area and delivers clean linens to supply room
• Takes all acquired trash out to trash dumpster as needed
