Yoh, a Day & Zimmermann company, is seeking a Software Test Automation Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable automation frameworks for IVI software in Palo Alto, CA. You will contribute to test strategy, scripts, and defect resolution across functional and system levels.

The role emphasizes strong Python automation skills, experience with Pytest, Selenium/WebDriver, Playwright, Cypress, or Gherkin/Cucumber, and collaboration within a QA-focused team.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in Software Quality Assurance and Test Automation.
• Proven hands-on track record of building, maintaining, and executing automated test suites.
• Strong proficiency in Python for automation scripts and test utilities.
• Direct experience with Pytest, Appium, Selenium WebDriver, Playwright, Cypress, or Gherkin/Cucumber.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and extend automated testing frameworks and scripts for application logic and system validation.
• Define, implement, and run automated test strategies, plans, and suites across functional, integration, and system levels.
• Write clean, scalable automation code using Python and standard testing frameworks.
• Identify, document, and track defects with clear steps and logs to enable resolution.
• Refine test automation strategies and coverage to improve overall QA practices.
