Job summary

CG Infinity is seeking a hands-on Automation Test Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable automation frameworks for web, API, and database testing in Plano, TX. You will develop automated validation processes and ensure quality through end-to-end test suites, driving efficient CI/CD integrations and robust testing practices.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in software testing with a strong focus on test automation.
• Hands-on experience delivering automation solutions as an individual contributor.
• Proficient with Playwright, TypeScript, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with database testing (SQL queries) and backend verification.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks for web, API, database, and integration testing.
• Build reusable automated test suites for functional, regression, smoke, integration, and end-to-end testing.
• Develop and execute automated tests using Playwright and TypeScript with modern testing tools.
• Create automated validation processes for front-end, backend services, APIs, and databases (SQL Server).
• Enhance existing frameworks and adopt best practices to improve coverage and efficiency.
• Implement automated data validation and quality checks across systems and integrations.
