Job summary

Ivy Fertility in Beverly Hills, CA is seeking a full-time Medical Assistant to support infertility treatment workflows. You will educate patients on protocols, coordinate diagnostics, document plans in EMR, and assist with in-office procedures.

The role requires Medical Assistant Certification; IVF or women’s health experience is a plus, but training is available. Monday–Friday with occasional weekends/holidays; competitive hourly pay with benefits.

Qualifications

• Must have Medical Assistant Certification.
• Willing to train the right candidate; experience in Women’s Health is a bonus.
• IVF or Women’s Health related experience is a plus.
• Ability to work full-time Monday-Friday with rotation of weekends and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Educate patients on treatment protocols, medications, and diagnostic procedures.
• Coordinate infertility diagnostic testing and create a treatment calendar.
• Document plan of care in EMR with attention to detail.

Salary Range: $28.00 - $40.00 Hourly

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Educate patients on treatment protocols, medications, diagnostic procedures and early pregnancy.
• Educate patients for signs and symptoms of complications to procedures and medication.
• Coordinates the completion of any necessary infertility diagnostic testing and creates a treatment calendar to assist patient in following the prescribed protocol.
• Clearly document plan of care with attention to detail using an EMR system.
• Assist with in-office procedures, administer medications, and perform phlebotomy.
• Pre op prep
• The applicant must be a team player. They must be able to work effectively and communicate amongst all members of the health care team to provide continuity of care.
• Provide a patient care experience that exceeds their expectation by actively listening to the patient and taking on the role of providing exceptional patient care.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Must have Medical Assistant Certification
• We are very willing to train the right candidate; experience in Women’s Health Care is a bonus but not required.
• Previous IVF or Women's Health related experience is a plus.
• Ability to work full-time Monday-Friday with rotation of weekends and holidays as needed

This role pays between $28 - $40 an hour, depending on experience.
