Job summary

The Brigham and Women's Hospital, Inc. is seeking a Per Diem Medical Assistant to support Ambulatory OBGYN teams. You will perform patient intake, vital signs, specimen collection, and assist with office workflow while ensuring patient comfort and privacy.

You will collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and staff, handling administrative tasks, education, and documentation in the EHR system. This role is onsite with variable clinic coverage.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Take vital signs, interview patients, and document information in the medical record.
• Explain treatments, medications, and instructions to patients; provide education materials.
• Assist with office duties, insurance forms, and liaison with departments to support patient care.
• Collect blood/tissue samples and prepare for testing; phlebotomy if competent.
