Job description

IV Therapy Wellness Partner

Location: Verona, NJ

Company: IV Nutrition

Employment Type: Part-Time and PRN

Summary

At IV Nutrition, we believe wellness is built through relationships, education, consistency, and personalized support — not simply through a single service or visit.

We are hiring an IV Therapy Wellness Partner to provide exceptional clinical care while building meaningful relationships with clients and helping them understand and stay engaged in their personalized wellness journey.

What You'll Do

  • Start IVs and administer IM injections safely and efficiently
  • Monitor clients throughout treatment to ensure comfort and safety
  • Prepare IV drips and manage treatment flow throughout the day
  • Document treatments, client responses, and clinical notes accurately
  • Maintain strict adherence to clinical protocols and safety standards
Client Wellness Journey
  • Get to know each client's wellness goals during every visit, not just their requested service
  • Help clients understand how a given therapy connects to what they're actually trying to achieve
  • Recognize when a client's needs may have changed and flag it to the Clinic Director or Assistant Clinic Director
  • Support continuity by making sure clients understand their next recommended step
Client Education
  • Educate clients on therapies, supplements, and wellness benefits
  • Answer client questions clearly and honestly, without pressure
  • Share your own growing knowledge of wellness, nutrients, and functional health as you learn
Relationship-Based Client Experience
  • Create a welcoming, professional environment for every client
  • Communicate clearly and build trust throughout each visit
  • Address client questions and concerns with professionalism and empathy
  • Build the kind of rapport that turns a first-time visitor into a regular
Protect the Client Journey
  • Maintain accurate documentation so the next team member has full context on a client
  • Support a seamless handoff between shifts and staff members
  • Help ensure no client falls through the cracks between visits
Clinic Operations
  • Track, manage, and restock inventory as needed
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of clinical areas
  • Support scheduling and overall clinic efficiency

  • Work closely with the Clinic Director and Assistant Clinic Director
  • Support team goals and daily operational priorities
  • Assist with training and onboarding as needed
  • Contribute to a positive, team-focused work environment

  • Participate in team meetings, training, and development
  • Take ownership of responsibilities beyond basic role expectations
Qualifications

  • 1+ year of clinical, emergency, or infusion experience preferred
  • Experience in wellness, functional medicine, client education, hospitality, or relationship-based healthcare is a plus

  • Strong IV and injection skills
  • Excellent bedside manner and client-care approach
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skillsNatural ability to build relationships and establish trust
  • Comfortable educating and engaging clients
  • Curious and motivated to continually learn about wellness and the human body

  • 8–10-hour shifts, including some Saturdays and Sundays as needed
  • Clinic environment with frequent and direct client interaction
Is This Role for You?
You Might Be a Perfect Fit If...
  • You're a people person.

Clients feel at ease the moment you walk in. You're warm, curious, and genuinely love getting to know people.

  • You're an IV pro.

You're confident, precise, and calm under pressure — even with tough sticks.

  • You live the wellness lifestyle.

Health and longevity aren't just buzzwords to you — they're things you actually think about and prioritize for yourself.

  • You're detail-oriented.

Accurate charting, thorough assessments, and safety are non-negotiables you take pride in.

  • You're a natural educator.

You love explaining how the body works and helping clients understand what they're putting into it and why.

  • You want the impact to extend beyond the IV.

You want to know why a client is receiving a service, not simply how to administer it, and you find purpose in helping them work toward meaningful goals.

This Role Is Not for You If...
  • You want responsibility to begin and end with starting an IV
  • You view client treatment time as personal downtime
  • You prefer to disengage once the clinical task is complete
  • You are uncomfortable initiating conversations or educating clients
  • You prefer a task-based clinical environment over a relationship-based client experience
Reality Check

Yes, you will start IVs — but starting the IV is only one part of your job.

You are here to become a trusted partner in each client's wellness journey, not simply to administer a treatment and move on.

Clients will vary in difficulty. Some will be anxious. Some will require extra attention. You are responsible for delivering a consistent, high-quality experience every time.
