Job summary

Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, CA is seeking a full-time IV Room Pharmacy Technician to support inpatient and outpatient pharmacy services. The technician rotates through the IV room, ambulatory infusion clinic and outpatient cancer centers, performing duties under pharmacist supervision.

The technician must be able to rotate shifts, days and evenings, and alternate weekends. Must hold a California Pharmacy Technician license, and be able to communicate effectively in English.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Current California Pharmacy Technician license in good standing.
• Ability to speak, read and write English.
• Candidates must be able to perform calculations involving ratios, proportions and percentages.
• Adequate computer skills to complete assigned projects and tasks.

Responsibilities

• Rotate shifts days and evenings; alternate weekends.
• Cross-trained in IV room, ambulatory infusion clinic, and outpatient cancer centers.
• All duties performed independently under pharmacist supervision.
