Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Certification eligible and registered as a pharmacy technician with Arkansas State Board of Pharmacy required.
• Experience in aseptic preparation of parenterals and other sterile products.
• Basic knowledge of pharmacy terminology and drug uses.
• Strong teamwork, communication, organization, and time-management skills.
• Ability to plan and complete daily activities with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and label sterile admixtures under pharmacist supervision.
• Perform aseptic compounding and maintain sterile technique per USP 797.
• Maintain compounding and controlled drug records per policies and regulations.
• Monitor and maintain drug and compounding supply inventories.
• Keep work and storage areas clean, orderly, and compliant with procedures.
