Lehigh Valley Health Network is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacists in dispensing prescriptions and maintaining sterile compounding areas. The role requires attention to detail, strong math skills, and adherence to regulatory standards.

Responsibilities include assisting with inventory, labeling, and ensuring timely delivery of medications, while collaborating with a cross-functional team in a fast-paced hospital environment. Onsite work is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED.
• Two years sterile compounding pharmacy technician experience.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Good math skills for counting, measuring, and weighing medications.
• Basic computer skills.
• CPhT - Certified Pharmacy Technician upon hire and RPT - Registered Pharmacy Technician upon hire.

Responsabilités

• Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing prescription orders.
• Adhere to all pharmacy policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Maintain sterile compounding areas per USP 797 and USP 800.
• Coordinate activities with team members and ensure timely dispensing of medications.
