Job summary
Omnicare, a CVS Health Company, is seeking an Advanced Pharmacy Technician to advance your career in a closed-door pharmacy setting. You will help ensure medication needs and regulatory compliance for patients while rotating through packaging, staging, IV, and compounding stations.
Join our back-end team to partner with supervisors, optimize workflow, manage stock, and coordinate deliveries with drivers. This full-time role offers 40 hours weekly and a comprehensive benefits package including
Qualifications
- Certification/licensed/registered pharmacy technician per state law.
- 1+ year of experience as a pharmacy technician or equivalent.
- PTCB National Certification is required.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate workflow for assigned areas that prepare and process medications.
- Compounding intravenous medications.
- Rotate and work in various pharmacy workstations including Packaging, Staging, Returns, Receiving, Narcotics, IV, Ekit, Compounding, Omnicell Cycle Fill, Machine Packaging.
- Receiving product deliveries and staging for distribution, rotate stock, coordinate with drivers for timely deliveries.
- Perform physical inventories of medication.
