Job summary

Omnicare, a CVS Health Company, is seeking an Advanced Pharmacy Technician (Sterile Compounding) to support our closed-door pharmacy operations. You will work to ensure medication needs and regulatory compliance are met for our patients in a fast-paced environment.

In this role you will rotate through multiple workstations, including packaging and compounding, while ensuring accuracy and timely deliveries. A HS diploma and 1+ year of pharmacy tech experience are required.

Qualifications

• Certification/licensed/registered pharmacy technician, or as required by state law.
• 1+ year of experience as a pharmacy technician.
• Preferred: long-term care experience.
• Preferred: pharmacy/retail/customer service experience.
• Preferred: PTCB National Certification.
• Preferred: 5+ years of experience as a pharmacy technician.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate workflow for areas that prepare and process medications.
• Rotate through packaging, staging, returns, receiving and other workstations.
• Receive product deliveries, pull and stage product for distribution, rotate stock.
• Perform physical inventories of medication.
