Job summary

SpecialtyRx, Inc. in Florida is seeking a licensed pharmacy technician to support the IV department. You will enter IV orders, maintain patient and prescription records, and generate labels for sterile preparations under pharmacist supervision.

The role requires reliability, data-entry accuracy, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced pharmacy. Prior IV experience and PTCB certification are preferred, along with excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Licensed FL Pharmacy Technician is required.
• IV medication experience is preferred.
• PTCB certification is preferred.
• Previous pharmacy and data entry experience is preferred.
• Must be reliable and able to execute multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Enter IV medication orders for pharmacist review and ensure accuracy.
• Maintain accurate patient, customer, and prescription information.
• Generate labels for IV medications and sterile preparations.
• Answer incoming calls and respond to IV order inquiries.
• Clarify IV orders and resolve discrepancies.
• Review, organize, and triage incoming faxes and prescription orders.
• Follow sterile compounding techniques and comply with standards and procedures.
• Participate in inventory and rotate IV medications and supplies.
• Work with supervisor and pharmacists to support IV department and operations.
• Complete other duties as assigned by supervisor.
