Job summary

RELIVE Health Great Neck is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for IV therapy assistance on Saturdays. The role focuses on IV placement, venipuncture, injections, patient monitoring, and clinical support within a wellness clinic.

The ideal candidate holds an active NY RN license, BLS, and has strong IV skills. This part-time Saturday position offers growth opportunities and a modern health environment.

Qualifications

• Active New York State RN license in good standing.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current BLS certification required.
• ACLS certification preferred.
• Strong IV placement and venipuncture skills required.
• Previous IV infusion experience preferred.
• Ability to recognize and respond to adverse reactions.
• Excellent communication and patient-care skills.
• Professional, dependable, organized, and detail-oriented.
• Must be available Saturdays from 8:00 AM–5:00 PM.

Responsibilities

• Start and maintain peripheral IV lines.
• Administer IV vitamin and hydration therapies per orders and protocols.
• Administer IM and subcutaneous injections.
• Perform venipuncture and blood draws.
• Label, process, store, and prepare laboratory specimens.
• Monitor patients during IV infusions and treatments.
• Respond to adverse reactions or emergencies.
• Record vital signs and patient information.
• Document in the EHR.
• Educate patients on treatment and aftercare within RN scope.
• Maintain infection-control and nursing standards.
• Keep treatment areas clean and stocked.
• Assist with inventory and IV supplies.
• Communicate with providers and clinical team.
