Job summary

Mosaic Life Care is seeking a Clinic LPN to work under leadership, delivering standard nursing care and supporting provider examinations across system facilities. The role involves administering medications, assisting with procedures, and educating patients and families to improve outcomes.

Ideal candidates are graduates of an accredited Practical Nursing program with active LPN licensure in Missouri (or a compact state), IV certification, and BLS within 90 days.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program.
• LPN license in state of Missouri or compact state licensure.
• IV certification required upon hire.
• BLS certification required within 90 days.
• Driver's license valid in state.

Responsibilities

• Greets and prepares patient for provider examination and treatment.
• Performs general nursing care and administers prescribed medications and treatments.
• Assists provider with procedures and maintains equipment before and after procedures.
• Engages in patient/family teaching to achieve desired patient outcomes.
• Monitors scheduling of patients, answers inquiries, and maintains timely flow of patients.
• Observes, records, and reports patient condition to provider.
• Arranges for patient referral testing at other facilities or specialty care.
• Other duties as assigned
