Job summary

Omnicell in Cleveland, OH is hiring an Automation Pharmacy Technician 4 (IV Compounding). You will ensure sterile IV medications are dispensed accurately using advanced automated equipment, manage inventory, update documentation, and communicate with customers to sustain strong relationships.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, active national certification (PTCB/NHA), Ohio tech license, and IV compounding experience. Travel for training may be required; shifts are 8–10 hours.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Active national Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB or NHA) is required.
• Active Ohio Pharmacy Technician License/Registration is required.
• Experience with IV compounding is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform IV automation tasks in an aseptic, error free manner as per SOPs.
• Perform cleaning and maintenance of IV automation equipment weekly and monthly.
• Follow safe handling of hazardous drugs procedures when handling medications.
• Identify and order medications to maintain optimal inventories.
• Monitor and order consumables required for equipment operation.
• Troubleshoot and report unresolved equipment issues to the IV TAC.
• Complete fingertip and media fill sampling.
• Maintain communication with pharmacy operations manager and customers.
• Ensure customer-focused support and resolve issues with Omnicell collaboration.
