Job summary

Ironwood Cancer & Research Centers is seeking an experienced Pharmacy Supervisor (IV Admixture) to lead our sterile compounding team in the West Valley. You will oversee daily operations, ensure patient safety, and maintain regulatory compliance while developing staff and enhancing infusion services.

The role requires extensive IV compounding expertise, leadership skills, and a commitment to quality. Travel within the Metro Phoenix area may be expected as part of leadership duties.

Qualifications

• Must have active Arizona Pharmacy Technician License or have equivalent licensure.
• National Pharmacy Technician Certification (CphT) required.
• 5+ years of IV compounding experience or graduation from an accredited IV Admixture Technician program.
• Strong knowledge of aseptic techniques, pharmaceutical calculations, and medication safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, mentor, and support IV Admixture Technicians.
• Lead hiring, onboarding, training, and performance evaluations.
• Manage staffing schedules, PTO requests, and call-out coverage.
• Foster a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement.
• Participate in leadership meetings and provide weekly operational reports.
