Overview

AtkinsRéalis is seeking an ITS/Traffic Engineering Intern - Summer 2027 to join our Orlando, FL office.

Your Role

• Develop plans, specifications, and other documentation to support project delivery.
• Compile data and prepare reports related to projects
• Reviewing ITS device locations and inventories
• Preparing exhibits and figures using: MicroStation
• OpenRoads Designer
• AutoCAD Civil 3D

Field work and site visits

• Field work and site visits, including: Conducting site visits and field investigations
• Verifying existing traffic signal equipment
• Documenting field conditions with photos
• Performing ITS inventory collection

About You

EXPERIENCE: 0-2 Years experience in a related technical field.

EDUCATION: Must have completed 60 hours towards a civil engineering degree from an ABET accredited program by the start of the internship (Summer 2027).

SPECIAL SKILLS: Basic computer skills required to enter data into spreadsheets or databases. Math skills to perform simple calculations; willingness to learn.

Additional Information

Expected compensation range is between $ 25 - $ 31 hourly depending on skills, experience, and geographical location.
